Information Technology Services
The Information Technology Services Department provides technology support to the Office of Education and school districts in El Dorado County. The Services include the following:
- Programming and enhancements to applications in support of financial accounting, budgeting, purchase orders, payroll, extended day billing, and web page development.
- Consulting and installation of the wide area network infrastructure for all schools in the county to facilitate communications between schools, district offices and the County Office for administrative purposes as well as providing Internet access for students and administrators.
- Microcomputer support for local area networks, software/hardware trouble shooting and support for the School Administrative Student Information systems (SASI) and Eagle Aeries.
- Recommendation and assistance in purchase and installation of computer equipment and software for educational agencies in El Dorado County.
